The durable, mahogany laminate surface of this Lorell vertical file cabinet is mar-resistant, burn-resistant and impact-resistant to withstand hectic, daily work life. The 1in thick top features matching 3mm edgebanding. Lateral file is made with 45 lb. density particleboard and finished on both sides with high-performance, thermally fused melamine. Anti-tip mechanism provides safe use when smoothly opening the file drawers equipped with full-suspension, ball-bearing slides. Both drawers lock for security. This vertical file cabinet holds letter-size and legal-size hanging files with included hang rails. The 3/4in adjustable glides allow it to remain level on uneven surfaces. Lateral file ships fully assembled for immediate use. Tested to meet ANSI/BIFMA Performance Standards - Manufacturer testing has been conducted on this product to meet specific performance requirements and safety standards set forth by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers.
