Item DescriptionThe patented Squids 3000 Retractable Tool Lanyard with Carabiner Tool Tether + Carabiner Anchor features a lightweight, low-profile retractable design that limits snags, tangles and tripping hazards. Use one manual-locking stainless steel carabiner for tethering hand tools weighing up to 1 lb, so that your tool is always kept close while you work at heights. Use the other carabiner for connecting the lanyard to your climbing harness's D-rings or to some other anchor point. Swivel rings on both ends feature a full 360° rotational range to minimize ergonomics-related hassles. Fixed-length locks with self-setting pawls make it easy to set the desired lanyard length. Set your working length by pulling the ultra-strong Technora cord out to the desired length, and then slightly tug the cord upwards to lock it in place. To retract, slightly extend the Technora cord out a bit further to release the lock, allowing the cord to retract back into its industrial-grade, ABS housing. Modular connecting buckle makes it easy to quickly switch out your attached tool for any other that you have equipped with a Squids 3025 Stainless steel Carabiner Tool Tether (additional tethers sold separately). Safety lanyards are an integral part of any fall-protection plan and are used to reduce the risks associated with falling objects to ensure workplace safety. When working at-heights, it’s critical to tether your tools, so do it right with Squids tool lanyards and tethers. Third-party certified to a 2:1 safety factor. Fastener Style: Carabiner Anchor; Carabiner Tether; Lanyard Color(s): Black; Length: 48; Safety Breakaway Connector: No.
