The US Small Business Administration (SBA) has named Pacific Ink, Inc. the 2023 Woman Owned Small Business of the year for San Diego & Imperial Counties (California). Pacific Ink was one of 16 different SBA awardees recognized at a May 9, 2023 ceremony.

Pacific Ink was nominated for this honor by the North San Diego SBDC Team.

Our Story

Pacific Ink is passionate about service. It’s a culture that has fueled this Woman Owned Small Business’s growth from a Master’s thesis project to the global provider of office and facility supplies that we are today.

Since launching the business from our garage in 2000 we’ve grown our catalog and now offer customers more than 1 Million different office and facility supplies. This variety of supplies will, hopefully, make Pacific Ink the “one stop shop” for all your supply needs.

Our passion for service means:

But this passion for service means so much more. Our commitment to service goes beyond our customers and extends to our local community. Over the coming year we will provide backpacks filled with school supplies to local children so they can arrive at school ready to learn and with the tools they need to succeed. We volunteer with the Elizabeth Hospice of San Diego, supporting their Child Bereavement programs that help grieving children and teens decrease their sense of isolation, increase cooperation skills, and encourage connection among their peers.

Our service based approach includes environmental and social responsibility. We recognize the importance of providing products that can do some good in the world. We offer more than 4,000 green products, containing post recycled consumer content that ranges from 30%-100%. One of our favorite national programs is the AbilityOne program. Items manufactured under the AbilityOne name provide employment for more than 46,000 blind or disabled Americans. Pacific Ink is proud to offer more than 1,000 of these products.

Our credentials make us a stand out company. We are certified as a Small Business (SB), Economically Disadvantage Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) and a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). Additionally, we hold multiple GSA Multiple Award Schedules and are an AbilityOne authorized dealer. We feel very fortunate to have received both local and national recognition.

Pacific Ink’s success highlights the amazing things a woman owned company can accomplish. Our leadership and service philosophy continue to be the driving forces behind our success. The combination of our passion for service and an unparalleled infrastructure (call it a combination of high touch and high tech) allows us to enhance the outstanding service our customers receive.
